Gilles Deleuze veröffentlichte in den 1980er-Jahren zwei BĂŒcher ĂŒber das Kino: Das Bewegungs-Bild und Das Zeit-Bild. Diese BĂŒcher entfalten eine Taxonomie der Filmbilder und ihrer Zeichen, die zur Weiterarbeit und -nutzung einlĂ€dt. Deleuze, der keine Filmgeschichte vorlegen wollte, rekonstruiert sie beilĂ€ufig trotzdem und thematisiert einige hundert Filme. Er wendet sich der FrĂŒhzeit des Kinos ebenso zu wie den Avantgarden der 1970er-Jahre. Zugleich setzen sich seine BĂŒcher mit den Arbeiten Bergsons und Peirces auseinander und weisen enge BezĂŒge zur eigenen SpĂ€tphilosophie auf, die Deleuzes zum Teil in Kooperation mit FĂ©lix Guattari entwickelt hat.Dies erklĂ€rt, warum es in den BĂŒchern um viel mehr geht als nur ums Kino - u. a. um Leben, Werden, Wissenschaft und Denken. Es erklĂ€rt auch, warum Deleuzes Kino-Philosophie in der Filmwissenschaft als schwer zugĂ€nglich gilt - ein Eindruck, der durch die uneinheitlichen Übersetzungen der beiden BĂ€nde verstĂ€rkt wird. So verwundert es kaum, dass die deutschsprachige Rezeption im Vergleich zur anglo-amerikanischen, von wenigen Ausnahmen abgesehen, insgesamt schleppend verlĂ€uft."Bewegungsbilder nach Deleuze" vereint die BeitrĂ€ge des Klagenfurter Symposions 2012, die sich mit der Entwicklung der Film- und Kinobilder seit 1985 beschĂ€ftigen und deren Ziel es war und ist, dem deutschsprachigen Diskurs AnstĂ¶ĂŸe zu geben und Deleuze, der keine Schule grĂŒnden wollte, gerecht zu werden, indem sie versuchen, ihn â€șweiter zu denkenâ€č.
