Sehr ausfĂŒhrlich werden die operative Therapie, die Strahlen- und die Chemotherapie beschrieben. Weichteil- und Knochentumoren sind selten, die Gruppe der Tumoren ist jedoch sehr heterogen. Die Therapiekonzepte sind meist multimodal, in AbhĂ€ngigkeit von Histologie, ResektabilitĂ€t, zu erwartendem Funktionsverlust, Alter und KomorbiditĂ€t. Die Behandlung erfolgt interdisziplinĂ€r, meist an spezialisierten Zentren. Den hĂ€ufigeren Tumoren sind eigene Kapitel gewidmet: den Osteosarkomen, den Chondrosarkomen und den Ewing-Sarkomen.
