An Beispielen aus der Praxis wird exemplarisch aufgezeigt, wie aus den unterschiedlichen pflegerischen Arbeitsfeldern heraus Beiträge zu den einzelnen Tätigkeitsfeldern entwickelt werden können. Dabei wird deutlich, dass die Pflege in den deutschsprachigen Ländern ihre Rolle in der Public-Health-Gemeinschaft nur erfüllen kann, wenn sie bereit ist, aus den gewohnten Handlungsfeldern herauszutreten und zukünftig neue pflegerische Ziele und Interventionen in das berufliche Selbstverständnis mit aufnimmt.
