«Magicamente i miei pensieri incontrano le parole. La poesia diventa l'espressione più naturale e immediata per esprimere il mio sentire. Mi ha accompagnato in quella salina che è l'inconscio, impronta divina di verità.
Ho cercato di illuminare lo spazio e il tempo dove sono conservati tutti i passaggi. Sono riemersi i ricordi, le ansie, i legami forti con le persone e le cose, con la terra di nebbia che mi ha accolto. Sono crollati i vincoli che in modo esclusivo e involontario hanno determinato me stessa e i rapporti con gli altri. Ripercorrere il passato, rileggere il presente, ha portato nuovi significati, ha arricchito la mia anima.
Posso definire, questa raccolta poetica, un viaggio interiore di ricostruzione e di rinascita, un dono di vita come il sale. Continuerò a cercare me stessa, al di là delle mura, a guardarmi intorno: saranno le parole a svelare le mie emozioni».
Maria Valeria Erasmi (Reggio Emilia, 1946). Vive a Barco di Bibbiano. Laureata in Pedagogia presso l'Università di Parma, è stata insegnante e poi Dirigente Scolastico. Ama dipingere.
