Ciò che questo volume dice è che oggi, nei media, ma non solo nei media, tanto più uno si sforza di dire di sé, tanto più lascia spazio a una dimensione impersonale. Attenzione: tanto più uno parla di sé; l'impersonalità arriva appunto come conseguenza di un'iper-personalizzazione; come inevitabile effetto di un affollarsi di "io". Non si tratta perciò di una cifra stilistica che posso scegliere in partenza: è piuttosto un punto d'arrivo che ho inevitabilmente davanti ogni volta che assumo apertamente la guida di un discorso.
