Im Jahr 2014 feierte das Institut fĂŒr Deutsche Sprache (IDS) sein 50-jĂ€hriges Bestehen. Dieses JubilĂ€um nahm das IDS zum Anlass, seine Jahrestagung thematisch etwas breiter anzulegen und diejenigen Themenfelder, die in der sprachwissenschaftlichen Diskussion der letzten fĂŒnf Jahrzehnte eine besondere Rolle gespielt haben und zu denen das IDS in besonderer Weise hat beitragen können, einer Revision zu unterziehen. Die BeitrĂ€ge dieses Bandes bieten daher einerseits eine Zusammenschau der aktuellen Fragen der Grammatikforschung und Grammatikografie, der Lexikologie und Lexikografie, des gesprochenen Sprachgebrauchs sowie der Korpustechnologie und der Computerlinguistik. Andererseits geben sie auch Auskunft darĂŒber, wo die Sprachwissenschaft im Moment steht und wo sich zukĂŒnftig vielleicht neue ForschungsrĂ€ume öffnen.
