Untersucht werden in erster Linie im Rahmen der Korpuslinguistik und der Funktionslehre ? die die Bedürfnisse der Wörterbuchbenutzer in den jeweiligen Benutzungssituationen berücksichtigt ?Aspekte der Makro- und Mikrostruktur wie z.B. die syntagmatische und semantische Kombinatorik, die Repräsentativität der Korpora für die Materialauswahl und die Frage der Authentizität der Datenbanken. Anhand der präsentierten lexikografischen Projekte werden die Vor- und Nachteile der elektronischen vs. der gedruckten Wörterbücher sowie die Leistungen und Einschränkungen der Korpuslinguistik bei der Erstellung von Idiomlexika thematisiert.
