To demonstrate how to use the words, the author gives each in a simple English sentence followed by a Spanish translation.
After the alphabetical dictionary listing is a section of words divided into 12 helpful categories: family, days, months and seasons, numbers, colors, food, parts of the body, stores, occupations, public notices, and animals. Although designed for Spanish speakers, this book is also an excellent tool for English speakers who wish to improve their Spanish vocabularies.
