En efecto, la pragmática tiene como objeto buscar el significado del hablante a través del uso, y es allí donde se encuentran muchas intencionalidades que no surgen en los otros niveles de análisis. Asimismo, es donde se capta la injerencia social del lenguaje tan honda. Por eso lo han visto como fenómeno sociopolítico, lo cual hace al libro muy sugerente. Esta parte social la encuentran los autores en la atención a las implicaciones socioculturales, campo en el que también entra la hermenéutica.
