About this book

La historia de la Corte Suprema de Justicia de Colombia, 1886-1991, tiene como base la investigación que desarrollé en el Doctorado en Derecho de la Universidad de los Andes, entre los años 2008 y 2012, con el apoyo del programa de doctoradosnacionales de Colciencias.Durante la investigación, la escritura del libro y el proceso editorial he acumulado muchas deudas de gratitud. En primer lugar quiero expresar mi profunda gratitud a Diego Eduardo López Medina, tenerlo como director de tesis fue una inmensa fortuna, y su guía y apoyo hicieron posible esta publicación.La Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de los Andes fue un espacio académico ideal para realizar los estudios doctorales. Agradezco a Helena Alviar por el apoyo institucional cuando fue directora del doctorado y ahora como decana por impulsar la publicación del libro. Quiero también agradecer a los profesores del doctorado por su ayuda y consejo, en especial a Julieta Lemaitre y a Isabel CristinaJaramillo.
