La aplicabilidad de este método se ilustra por medio de dos casos, realizados con el objetivo de analizar la problemática de exposición térmica en las actividades de fundición y fabricación de piezas metálicas. En dichos casos se trata de establecer la carga de trabajo y los requerimientos en términos de exposición a temperaturas, aclimatación de trabajadores, elementos de protección personal y elementos de base para un programa de prevención de estrés térmico. El objetivo es de establecer algunos principios útiles para mejorar las condiciones de salud y seguridad en las áreas analizadas. Con el ánimo de mejorar las condiciones generales de trabajo.
