About this book

Nel corso degli ultimi anni il fenomeno delle fabbriche recuperate è emerso in Italia con sempre maggiore evidenza. Questa ricerca lo indaga attraverso i due concetti sociologici di resilienza sociale e resistenza. Se l'idea di resilienza sociale pone in evidenza il carattere sistemico e "meccanico" di specifiche risposte a situazioni di crisi, l'idea di resistenza pone invece al centro dell'analisi un'asimmetria di potere e una volontà di riscrittura dei rapporti sociali che insistono su tale asimmetria. Da un lato, tutte le forme di recupero aziendale dimostrano la capacità del sistema di reagire alla crisi economica, contrastando in parte la flessione dei livelli occupazionali e migliorando la tenuta del sistema produttivo. Dall'altro lato, il fenomeno mostra una risposta sociale al capitalismo e al neoliberismo nelle loro manifestazioni più estreme, proponendo forme di gestione collettiva e solidale di entità produttive e generando incubatori sperimentali di democrazia.
