Once there were two terrible twins called Holly and Sean, who gave their Head Teacher a nervous breakdown. The twins were extremely pleased with themselves. That is, until the new Head Teacher arrived. For you see, the new Head Teacher was - a Troll. That's right. And this Troll Head Teacher soon created all kinds of mad new rules for the pupils and teachers. Can Holly and Sean save the day and stop the Troll from eating their classmates and teachers? Can naughtiness be restored to its rightful place? Will Brussels sprouts and peanut butter be taken off the menu?

-	Mrs Spike, the head-teacher, was found in the sandpit

-	she was found in the sandpit eating sand and mooing like a cow.

-	She’d had a nervous breakdown brought about by the actions of two quite naughty children
-	Sean
-	and Holly

-	She’d just finished teaching class 2b about the Vikings when a little hand shot up at the back of the class
-	Why?
-	said Holly
-	Mrs Spike turned around.
	Why? she said.
-	Yes, why? said Holly, perhaps a glint of mischief in her eye?
-	perhaps, I’m not sure
-	perhaps a bit, yes
-	Why did the Vikings invade? said Mrs Spike.
-	Yes, said Holly – why?
-	Well, because they wanted more land, said Mrs Spike, turning to the blackboard and imagining the matter was closed, but another hand had shot up at the back of the class
-	Why?
-	This was Sean.
-	Why did they want more land? said Mrs Spike.
-	Yes, why did they want more land, said Sean.
-	Because they wanted to increase their wealth and grow more crops
-	Why? Holly again.
-	Because they wanted more food.
-	Why? Sean.
-	Because it’s good to have more food.
-	Why?
-	Because they wanted to feed more people
-	Why?
-	Because their population was expanding
-	Why?
-	Because they were having more children
-	Why?
-	Because, because they were breeding more
-	Why? This was little Tommy Anderson who – though not as smart as Sean and Holly – had begun to understand the game…
-	Because they were healthier
-	Why?
-	Because they were eating better
