Huth et la Queste del Saint Graal des mss. fr. 112, 340 et 343 de la BnF ont suscité de nombreuses interrogations: les références à son auteur, Robert de Boron, et la continuité de la ligne argumentaire lui apportent une certaine cohérence, malgré l'interruption de cette continuité par des lacunes qui isolent les textes conservés. La critique pense que ce matériel faisait partie d'une trilogie composée après le cycle de la Vulgate, dont elle a attribué les manques à la perte accidentelle de textes, et elle a eu recours aux témoignages castillans et portugais pour reconstruire quelques sections. Ce volume offre de nouvelles perspectives sur cet ensemble et propose une relecture critique des principaux textes français et ibériques
