Este volumen recoge las comunicaciones que se presentaron en el II Congreso Internacional de la Asociación Española de Lengua Italiana y Traducción (ASELIT), celebrado en Sevilla los días 24, 25 y 26 de octubre de 2016, y organizado por un grupo de italianistas de las Universidades de Sevilla y Pablo de Olavide.
Los trabajos reunidos son una muestra del buen hacer de un numeroso grupo de especialistas en traducción, lingüística contrastiva e didáctica del italiano, tanto españoles como italianos, como de otras nacionalidades, y tanto de estudiosos ya consagrados como de jóvenes italianistas.
