El canto es algo sumamente entusiasmante, encanta a los que lo practican y a quienes lo escuchan. Y el canto es también algo muy difícil de teorizar. Existe un mecanismo pero que no vemos y tenemos que emplear metáforas para tratar de entendernos. Los médicos viendo la laringe del cantante pueden ver algo concreto de ese mecanismo y pueden ayudar en la enfermedad o indicar los problemas técnicos que aparentemente originas problemas por causas técnicas. Pero no ven el mecanismo entero que significa el apoyo del fiato, el uso de todas las posibilidades del paladar, la respiración, la posición de la lengua, etc. Indudablemente la peor cosa para la voz es cantar mal y es el mal más difícil de curar. Pero no imposible.
