Responsabilità è oggi termine chiave e sempre richiamato da politici, amministratori, manager, operatori della comunicazione, cittadini qualunque. Responsabilità verso gli altri, verso la natura, verso le generazioni future. La stessa "sostenibilità", che è l'ambito in cui più si esplica l'etica pratica contemporanea, può essere considerata un modo di esprimere quel "prendersi cura" del mondo che il concetto di responsabilità richiama già nell'etimo.
