Il ceppo e la scintilla
Il ceppo,
saldo e possente,
ancorato alla terra
pazientemente attende.
Dal bosco ombroso viene,
scheggia del vecchio pino,
raffiche di vento non teme.
La scintilla,
briosa, evanescente,
nel fresco della notte
vaga anelante.
Da ignoto mondo viene,
barlume di mistero,
di non trovar posa teme.
Il ceppo...
chi lĂŹ accanto passa esclama:
“Il ceppo! Il ceppo!
Garanzia di calore,
aroma del focolare,
sosta del viaggiatore!”,
costante,
fiero,
rassicurante è il ceppo.
La scintilla…
chi nel buio la scorge esclama:
“La scintilla! La scintilla!
Illusione di chiarore,
guizzo del focolare,
presagio di sventure!”,
capricciosa,
incostante,
fastidiosa è la scintilla.
Eppure entrambi attendono.
Il ceppo di incontrar chi l’arde,
la scintilla d’infiammar chi l’attende.
Solo il fato li farĂ  incontrare
quando il buio disferĂ  le ombre
e nel gelo ghiaccerĂ  la valle.
Uno sguardo ancor privo di nome...
istantaneo avvampa l’amore.
Ed è l’incendio:
i due elementi fiamma si son fatti
e verso il cielo son diretti,
s’avvinghian crepitando
in un giubilo di furore,
ridenti e appassionati
spandono calore.
Chi richiamato dal chiaror s’appresta esclama:
“La vampa! La vampa!
Visione di bellezza,
ristor...
