L'autrice, Anna matrone, lo ritrova proprio nella semplicità delle parole che, ad una ad una, ricompongono quel mondo che sembra sfaldarsi nella terribile indifferenza moderna: sono parole serene, del linguaggio di ogni giorno, a caccia di sentimenti veri e non di oscuri pensieri e stravolgono l'essenza delle cose.

Dopo aver studiato in scuole di Firenze e Genova si è laureata in Lettere moderne presso l'Università di Salerno.
Ha insegnato alcuni anni in provincia di Bergamo e si è poi trasferita a Formia, dove attualmente vive.
Fin dalla giovinezza ha amato molto poeti e poetesse di diverse nazionalità ed epoche storiche e, accanto alla poesia, nutre una grande passione per la musica e la pittura.
Nel 2003 ha pubblicato la sua prima raccolta di poesie dal titolo "Sulle ali di un gabbiano", nel 2007 la raccolta "Sentieri nel vento" e nel 2008 "Trasparenze".
