E in una civiltà senza sentimenti, il poeta urla la sua presenza. Ed è la poesia, la risposta che esorta ad accettare la sfida del nuovo giorno, in un sacerdozio che esprime un unico pensiero: l'arte come unica fonte ed unica finalità.
La parola, in questa raccolta, si esplicita in una continua ricerca del polisenso, nel proposito di slegare il linguaggio omologato e conformista che la tv impone, cercando di tendere all'estremo l'arco espressivo di ogni singola, conosciuta, parola. Giuseppe Aletti (Taranto, 1970). Editore, critico letterario, ideatore di manifestazioni culturali. È artefice del manifesto Habere Artem, nel 1994 fonda la rivista artistico-lettararia Orizzonti, che lo impegna in un'intesa attività di critica letteraria, inchieste, interviste, recensioni. Giunge due volte finalista nella cinquina del Premio Città di Forlì, sezione Scriba, riservata alle introduzioni critiche delle raccolte edite di poesia. Cura alcune manifestazioni poetiche che coinvolgono ogni anno migliaia di partecipanti, tra cui Il Federiciano e Il Tiburtino.
È ideatore dell'unico "Paese della Poesia", che prevede la presenza di stele poetiche di ceramica di nuovi autori e di poeti che hanno fatto la storia della letteratura (hanno aderito, tra gli altri, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Dacia Maraini, Alda Merini, Manlio Sgalambro, Mario Luzi, Maria Luisa Spaziani, Alejandro Jodorowsky), adagiate sulle mura esterne degli edifici del suggestivo borgo medioevale di Rocca Imperiale, e il cambio della toponomastica con i nomi dei poeti italiani, dalla Scuola Siciliana del '200 fino ai nostri giorni.
Dopo oltre venti anni di attività letteraria ed editoriale con I Decaduti dà alle stampe la sua prima opera ufficiale.
