Gottesdienste in freikirchlichen Kontexten beruhen nicht auf schriftlichen Gottesdienstbüchern oder Agenden. Dennoch ist ihre Gestaltung nicht willkürlich. Diese qualitativ empirische Studie untersucht anhand ausgewählter freikirchlicher Gottesdienste der deutschsprachigen Schweiz deren impliziten Logiken und leitenden theologischen Motive. Dabei zeigt sich ein aufschlussreiches Zusammenspiel von Glaubensüberzeugung, Alltagsbezug, Allgemeinem Priestertum und Mission. Diese und weitere theologische Akzente werden diskutiert und in den ökumenisch-liturgiewissenschaftlichen Diskurs eingezeichnet. Die Studie leistet damit einen Beitrag für das Verständnis freikirchlicher Gottesdienstkultur, eröffnet Perspektiven für wechselseitige Lernprozesse und bietet Anregungen zu einer theologisch reflektierten Gottesdienstgestaltung.[Free Church Worship Services: Empirical Analysis and Theological Reflections]Free Church worship services are not based on written service books. However, their design is not arbitrary. The qualitative research examines their implicit logics and leading theological motifs based on selected free church services in German-speaking Switzerland. This reveals an insightful interplay of belief, everyday life, priesthood of all believers and mission. These and other theological accents are discussed and drawn into the ecumenical-liturgical discourse. The study thus makes a contribution to the understanding of free church worship culture, opens up perspectives for mutual learning processes and offers suggestions for theologically reflected forms of worship.Stefan Schweyer, Dr. theol., studierte evangelische Theologie in Basel und Chicago und war von 1994 bis 2008 Pastor einer Freikirche. Er ist seit 2020 Professor für Praktische Theologie an der universitären theologischen Hochschule STH Basel.Stefan Schweyer, Prof. Dr. theol. habil., Jahrgang 1970, studierte evangelische Theologie in Basel und Chicago (USA). Von 1994 bis 2008 war er Pastor in einer Freikirche. 2006 erfolgte die Promotion in Praktischer Theologie an der Evangelisch-Theologischen Fakultät in Leuven (Belgien) mit einer Dissertation über "Kontextuelle Kirchentheorie", 2019 die Habilitation in Liturgiewissenschaft an der Theologischen Fakultät der Universität Freiburg (Schweiz). Seit 2020 ist er Ordentlicher Professor für Praktische Theologie an der universitären theologischen Hochschule STH Basel.Kontextuelle Kirchentheorie.
