Hinter dieser Entwicklung stehen bildungs-, bevölkerungs- und finanzpolitische Erwägungen sowie die Debatte um die inklusive Schule. Diese schulsystemischen Entwicklungen lassen auch den Religionsunterricht nicht unberührt.Der Band resümiert nun erstmals systematisch und umfassend, in welchem Maße und wie sich die Religionsdidaktik bisher auf die bestehenden Schulformen von der Förderschule bis zur gymnasialen Oberstufe eingelassen hat: Dabei wird u. a. deutlich, dass religionsdidaktische Konzepte der Schulform als Kontext des Religionsunterrichts keineswegs besondere Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt haben. Zum anderen wird geprüft, welche Instrumente der Religionsdidaktik zur Verfügung stehen, um der Heterogenität von Lerngruppen in Gemeinschaftsschulen oder sogar inklusiven Schulen gerecht zu werden.Damit stellt der Band Forschungsergebnisse zur Verfügung, die für die Diskussion um Religion in der inklusiven Schule unverzichtbar sind.
