Rekurriert wird dabei u.a. auf Prophetenfiguren des Alten Testaments und auf Paulus, der als GewĂ€hrsmann fĂŒr die Torheit des Kreuzes immer wieder begegnet. Der Band verbindet das sĂŒdafrikanische Konzept des »Ubuntu« mit deutschsprachigen Ăberlegungen zum »Fragment« sowie niederlĂ€ndischen AnsĂ€tzen zu »Form« und »Reform« zu einer Theologie und Kulturhermeneutik der LiminalitĂ€t, die sich in einem Predigen auf der Grenze konkretisiert. Der Gegenpol dieses liminalen PredigtverstĂ€ndnisses liegt in einer »stĂ€hlernen Theologie«, die sich etwa in den Predigten aus der Zeit der Apartheid in SĂŒdafrika zeigte, aber bis in die Gegenwart auch in den USA und weiteren Kontexten begegnet. Entstanden ist so eine Kulturhermeneutik der Predigt in internationalem Horizont, die eine ProvoÂŹkation darstellt fĂŒr alle, die predigen und Predigten hören.
