Ambrosii Catharini … responsio Lutheri' (1521). Die Vollmacht kirchlicher Ämter einschließlich des Papsttums wird in Zusammenhang mit der Konzilsfrage erörtert in: 'Sermo de virtute excommunicationis'(1518), 'Resolutio Lutheriana super propositione XIII de potestate Papae' (1519) und 'Disputatio de potestate concilii' (1536). Als Grundtext für das evangelische Verständnis von Amt und Gemeinde ist 'De instituendis ministris ecclesiae' (1523) aufgenommen.
