Taufen ist ein grundlegender Vollzug christlicher Kirche. GegenwĂ€rtig verĂ€ndert sich die Taufpraxis mehrfach. Den sich dadurch ergebenden Herausforderungen gingen in einem FachgesprĂ€ch Theologen unterschiedlicher Disziplinen im akademischen Lehramt, in kirchenleitender Verantwortung und im praktischen Dienst nach. An analysis of the (lacking) importance of baptism in Systematic and Practical Theology as well as historical, ecumenical, and legal reflections are following.
