[Ethical and Political Preaching Contributions to a Homiletic Challenge] How can ethical preaching be done nowadays? Which forms of political preaching do exist? Where are the opportunities and risks? The International Bugenhagen Symposium in 2014 at the Atelier Sprache e.V. in Braunschweig explored these questions from a practical-theological, New Testament and systematic-theological perspective. The contributions in this volume provide new approaches to a topic that has been given little consideration in the homiletic discourse of the recent years. Experiences and reflections on political preaching in South Africa during the years of apartheid and in the present but also memories of different political pulpits in Braunschweig complement the picture.
