Perspektiven des Glaubens

About this book

Niemand glaubt nichts. Mit BeitrĂ€gen von Gregor Maria Hoff, Friedrich Wilhelm Horn, Markus Iff, Johanna Rahner, Joachim Ringleben, Cornelia Richter und Michael Theobald.[Perspectives of the Faith]There is no one who does not believe anything. Faith, as it seems, is a basic human constant. With this statement though it is not yet clear towards whom or what faith is directed in modern times. The question of faith rather leads to further anthropological and ecclesiological questions referring to the relationship between theology and natural sciences and to the question of an autonomous, heteronomous or theonomic constitution of humankind. These questions were in the focus of the 61st European Conference on Confessional Studies, which was organized in March 2017 by the Institute for Ecumenical Studies and Research of the Protestant League together with the Roman Catholic Johann Adam Möhler Institute. The volume includes contributions from Gregor Maria Hoff, Friedrich Wilhelm Horn, Johanna Rahner, Cornelia Richter, Markus Iff, Joachim Ringleben and Michael Theobald, which represent different confessional and professional perspectives. Thus, this collection offers a compendium of confessional studies related to different perspectives of faith.
