Die leistungsfeindliche Ausgestaltung des Systems der ArbeitslosenunterstĂŒtzung und der Sozialhilfe mit â ökonomisch betrachtet â exorbitant hohen «SpitzensteuersĂ€tzen» auf die eigenen Verdienste von HilfeempfĂ€ngern trĂ€gt zur VerlĂ€ngerung des Hilfebezugs bei. In dieser Arbeit werden Alternativen zum Status quo vorgestellt und kritisch diskutiert. Ein eigener Reformvorschlag â das Einstiegsgeld fĂŒr Langzeitarbeitslose â wird entwickelt. Das Einstiegsgeld wird seit 1999 in Modellversuchen in 16 StĂ€dten und Kreisen in Baden-WĂŒrttemberg und Hessen in der Praxis getestet.
