Das Nebeneinander der 27 europĂ€ischen Steuersysteme verzerrt Standort-, Investitions- und Finanzierungsentscheidungen und behindert die grenzĂŒberschreitende GeschĂ€ftstĂ€tigkeit von Unternehmen im Binnenmarkt. Diese Hindernisse beabsichtigt die EuropĂ€ische Union durch die EinfĂŒhrung der konsolidierten Körperschaftsteuer-Bemessungsgrundlage zu beseitigen. Dieses Konzept sieht innerhalb eines Konzerns vor, die Bemessungsgrundlage aller Konzernunternehmen nach einheitlichen Standards zu ermitteln, sie anschließend zu konsolidieren und den Konzerngewinn dann auf die einzelnen Steuerhoheiten mittels einer Formel aufzuteilen. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, die mit diesem Systemwechsel verbundenen Auswirkungen auf die statutarischen Konzernstrukturen sowie auf das Steueraufkommen der Mitgliedstaaten anhand empirischer Analysen abzuschĂ€tzen.
