If one has their focus trained on being successful in the use of multilevel marketing, the most important aspect they should make use of is the use of stories to present their facts. Beyond simple facts about the products on offer, one has to make use of human emotions to overcome any issues that may come about when the target audience is debating between jumping on board or not. If you know how to tell a story, you will know how to bridge the gap between yourself, the product, and the target audience. When you break down the walls between yourself and the target customers, you will be able to make them see from the same point you are seeing from. Stories have many advantages over simple facts about products or organizations. First of all, stories break down barriers. You could be telling a simple story about your fishing trip yet you would be touching on so many lives in the audience. Secondly, stories change perspectives. When a new customer walks into the audience, they have their own points of view on the various issues being presented. However, when you tell them a story, you will likely help them come around to the fact that everyone in attendance is simply another person like them. They will then put aside their differences and be ready to engage everyone actively thus increasing the chances of their being enrolled into the program.

Stories about Your Products

When telling stories about your products, you need to take care of a few aspects that will set your stories apart from what the competing products are saying about themselves. First of all, the stories should present your products as lifestyle products and not simply some new stuff to take home and keep in the drawer. The products should be presented in a way that the customer or target audience will see them as necessary parts of their lives. They have to need them. For example, imagine you are telling a story about a new type of tea your firm has. Rather than presenting it as just another part of people’s breakfast, set it apart and tell them why it is the only tea they need. For this example, tell them how the tea, for example, reduces the aging process or keeps away a certain type of disease. Secondly, set your product aside from the crowd. Using our example of the tea your firm has just unveiled, rather than presenting it as an option one can either choose or leave, compare it with other types of tea and give the customers reasons why they should choose yours over the competition. Most people make the mistake of offering products then presenting them as one of many. Make your product stand out as the star of the day. Let people talk about your product when they have left the conference. Let your story be the reference point of just how great your product is.
