Por ello, esta obra, involucra los principios que rigen el movimiento del agua, con temas como: mecánica de fluidos, hidrostática, hidrodinámica, pérdidas de carga en tubería, hidráulica de canales, drenajes y principios de bombeo; los cuales permiten obtener las bases para el dimensionamiento de los sistemas de conducción de agua con fines agrícolas. Por último, se resalta que el campo del país necesita de profesionales con formación en temas de manejo hídrico, en donde se utilicen estos conocimientos para la sostenibilidad de la producción.
