Study GuidesTime-Savers for Grammar and Punctuation
Introduction
Time-Savers for Grammar and Punctuation is intended to enable you to identify and correct the most common errors in grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Each concept is presented in clear language, avoiding technical terms whenever possible, and is followed by one or more focused exercises that provide practice and help reinforce the lesson. This approach provides the maximum instructional benefit relative to the time expended—hence the name Time-Savers.
While the topics have been arranged in a logical sequence to help you build your knowledge methodically, they may be studied in any order desired. So that you can work through Time-Savers at your own pace, the answers to Exercises are provided beginning on page 202. Answers to Tests must be checked by your teacher.
