Walking with Biblical Women of Courage
About this book
Walking with Biblical Women of Courage is a collection of meditative monologues told from the perspectives of women from both the Old and the New Testaments. The monologues are followed by thoughts and questions around the issues that are raised in the narratives, designed for either individual or group exploration and reflection. Each study will include one or more questions that relate specifically to the quality of courage demonstrated by the character: perseverance in suffering and/or in trying circumstances; resilience in the face of disappointment and loss; strength to take on difficult roles or carry out certain actions; the strength to resist carrying out ungodly orders; boldness to go against the flow or speak out a difficult and unpopular message; the courage to face persecution, the death of a loved one or one's own death.
