Chapter 1
Adam and God
Breath of Life
Every living thing has physical, spiritual, and divine nature. God made it so. He created heaven and this physical paradise, earth, and placed us here.
Humans have been, since the beginning, thinking and asking of the source and origin of things; the mystery of life, divine and physical; the higher source—lives and ways of living, the below and above and the beyond, stars, the sun, the moon, the earth, days, nights, water, wind, fire, air, rain, mountains, caves, trees, fruits, seeds, herbs, food, and everything that lives and grows on earth. The creatures of the sea, air, and land are wonderful, mysterious, diversified, scientific, beautiful, wise, unique, small and large, balanced, and complete. Man begins to observe, to ponder, and to study all these things—what they are, how they work, and how they live. They want to know who created them, who made them.
They gaze at the sky, stare at the ocean, and look at the horizon, hoping that he will show up. They want to thank the Creator, the Maker, and the Provider of all these things. They want to relate to the source of all these things that far exceeds human imagination. How to thank and whom to thank they do not know. In ignorance, they mold and carve images, take them as their gods, offer sacrifices, and worship them to appease the unknown.
God the Creator is a spirit, and being spiritual, he created all the physical things and gave them life. Adam and Eve, the work of God, the physical and the divine, seen and unseen, lived and occupied the physical earth. In them were the Holy Spirit of God and the human soul.
Humans pray, meditate, and seek the Creator days and nights. Then their mind, consciousness, and sense of awareness began to open; and they found God. They seek the Holy Spirit of God who lives inside every living person. God starts revealing things to them. Ideals, formulas, theories, and principles begin to come up in their minds and brains. Soon the Creator in the form of prophets and messengers visits them to teach and tell them to love one another and help in knowing the origin of things, the science and principle of creation.
At the beginning, group revering, tribal war, wildlife, sickness, and natural disasters were a threat to humans. Did humans transform from primate? Have the transformation and evolution stopped? The primates still exist where are the newly transform human. The early humans were unique but primitive in their thoughts and ways of doing things.
As humans pray, they get closer to the Creator and divine intervention. Creativity advancement begins to surface. To survive from these confrontations, the spirit of God begins to reveal to them how to make tools and weapons, the laws of nature, principles and science, and the values of the natural resources that lead to present-day technology and development. Wildlife doesn’t threaten us anymore; we threaten them. They are afraid of humans, they are running out of places to live, and they are going extinct. Now we know whom God the Father is. He has visited us. As humans, we saw him in person.
We are the children of God the Father, but the mystery of the Father and the whole creation remains. Children are inquisitive; they question, “Where did God the Father originate from? Where is he taking us to?” We don’t know. Only the Father knows; only the Father has an answer. I tell you about earthly things, and you do not believe me. How will you believe me if I tell you about heavenly things?
Behold, the man has become as one of us to know good and evil now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live forever. (Genesis 3:22)
The Holy Spirit is the tree of life which the soul will have to climb to arise to and return to the Creator, God the Father, taking us toward a better world. He leads, and we follow.
God let us make man in our image, after our likeness. God created man in his own image; in the image of God created He him male and female. (Genesis 1:26–27)
In today’s technology through electronic drafting, we create the blueprint of the product that needs to be produced. The Lord God created the blueprint, the spirit of Adam and Eve, to be reproduced in the physical world—earth.
And the lord God formed man with dust of the ground earth and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life the spirit of God. (Genesis 2:7)
Through the soul of God, the blueprint of God, man became a living being.
Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons. Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?” Jesus of Nazareth they replied. I am he, Jesus said. For the second time, I am he. They drew back and fell to the ground. (John 18:3–6)
Let’s pay attention to these three words: God, he, and him. First, God the Father is the Creator. Second, God the Son is he, Jesus Christ, the divine working energy of the invisible God, the firstborn of God. On the third day, he was raised from the dead by God the Father, and he appeared to Mary Magdalene and to the apostle. Third is the Holy Spirit, the divine male child. “Whosoever that shall receive one of this little one receive me and who receive me receive the Father that sent me” (Mark 9:37). “And their angel always behold the face of my father who is in heaven” (Matthew 18:10). Fourth, the soul is the perfect image of God, the animating principle of humans. Fifth is the human spirit, human energy, human flesh. Sixth are the human senses. Seventh is the living human, the visible aspect of God.
The lord God commanded the man saying of every tree of the garden thou may freely eat but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil thou shall not eat of it for in the day that thou eats thereof thou shall surely die, The serpent Lucifer is among the angels that served the lord God, Adam and Eve in the presence of the lord God and also in the presence of the angels that served their father the lord God Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, who told thee that thou were naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou should not eat? And the man said, the woman whom thou gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat And the LORD God said unto the woman, what is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, the serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shall thou go, and dust shall thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shall bruise his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shall bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shall not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shall thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shall eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shall thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it was thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shall thou return. And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. And the LORD God said, evil Behold, the man has become as one of us to know good and evil now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live forever Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken So he drove out the man; he placed at the east of the Garden of Eden Cherubim’s, and a flaming sword which turned every way to keep the way of the tree of life. Adam and Eve dead. (Genesis 3)
Lie not one another seeing that ye have put off the old man Adam with its deed and have put on the new man Christ which renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. (Colossians 3:9–10)
Some people will say that for Adam and Eve, it was fine, since they were the beginning of human beings. First, they were immortal and lived in heaven in the presence of God the Father and then were sent to earth to be mortal beings for eating the forbidden fruit. From the beginning, they were with God and did not have the knowledge of good and evil. It all happened after they ate the forbidden fruit, and they passed the knowledge on to us from generation to generation. What is this fruit that they ate, and what is the knowledge of good and evil that they gained? The forbidden fruit is death, evil. We are like God; he made us in his own image. However, we are partly God and partly human, and the power of God is in us. How we handle this power is what matters ...
