Vor 50 Jahren erschien Heinz Ides "Bestandsaufnahme Deutschunterricht", die Gründungsurkunde des Bremer Kollektivs. In ihr wurde der damalige Deutschunterricht einer radikalen Kritik unterzogen und mit Blick auf die gesellschaftlichen Ereignisse und Entwicklungen auf eine neue, ideologiekritische Basis gestellt. Das Kollektiv wirkte so produktiv wie einflussreich, ehe es sich 1980 wieder auflöste. Heute, 50 Jahre nach seiner Gründung und vor dem Hintergrund massiver Veränderungen im politischen und gesellschaftlichen Sprachgebrauch, im Zeichen von Twitter, 'Fake News' und einer immer enthemmter wirkenden Sprache in den Parlamenten, stellt sich die Frage, wie aktuell die ideologiekritische Deutschdidaktik des Bremer Kollektivs auch heute noch ist – oder wieder ist.
