Er orientierte sich an für ihn interessanten Menschen - etwa Joseph Ratzinger, Friedrich Dürrenmatt, Franz Rosenzweig oder Nikolaus von Zinzendorf - und antwortete ihnen, lernte von ihnen, widersprach ihnen aber auch. Das war seine Art zu theologisieren.Eberhard Busch zeichnet anhand solcher Gespräche ein Porträt Karl Barths. Die 15 'Dialoge' zeigen Querverbindungen zum Denken und Wirken anderer Persönlichkeiten auf und eröffnen einen vielfältigen Zugang zum grossen Denker der Dialektischen Theologie. So spricht auch Barth selbst aufs Neue - wie ein Gegenwärtiger.
