chapter 7
More on the Jehovah’s Witnesses
“You are my witnesses,” declares the lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen [Jesus], so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he [Jesus, God Jehovah in the flesh]. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I, even I, am the lord (Jehovah), and apart from me there is no savior.” (Isa. 43:10–11 NIV; emphasis mine)
The next scripture describes who Isaiah was referring to in verse 10: “that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he.”
Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.” (John 8:28–29 NKJV; emphasis mine)
The Jehovah’s Witnesses New World Translation of the Scriptures read as follow in reference to God the Son:
In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. (John 1:1; emphasis mine)
This is total blasphemy and a lie concocted by Satan and his disciple, Charles Taze Russell, founder of the Bible Student Movement, which later developed into the current cult of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Isaiah also states that “apart from Him, there is no savior.” This clearly defines the fact that Jehovah God is Jesus in the flesh, the Son of God, sent to be the savior of the world. If this compelling truth is denied by the Jehovah Witnesses and their leadership, then they are in fact calling God Jehovah a liar.
As anyone can see in verse 10 of Isaiah, chapter 43, God Jehovah clearly states in His own words that before Him “no god” was formed nor will there be one after Him.
What about the god of the world as mentioned in 2 Corinthians 4:2–6? The same serpent, the devil that deceived Eve—“thou shall not surely die but you shall be as God, knowing good and evil”—has deceived practically the entire world, even today, as seen from the following scriptures.
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age [Allah] has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God [Yahweh-Jehovah] should shine on them.
For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor 4:2–6 NKJV; emphasis mine)
We know that Adam committed high treason and gave his dominion as God of this world to the devil, the serpent of old. We also know that the angel Lucifer fell from the grace of God because of envy, pride, and arrogance, having the desire to be like the most High God.
How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: “I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars (angels) of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.” Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol [hell] to the lowest depths of the Pit [Hell]. (Isa. 14:12–15 NKJV; emphasis mine)
The false prophet, Charles T. Russell, founder of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, got his revelation of the New World Translation of the Scriptures by studying the Satanic verses he heard by spending much time studying the Egyptian Great Pyramid of Giza, which was built by fallen angels to worship Satan and which Russell called God Jehovah’s “Bible in Stone.”
According to Russell, the Great Pyramid of Giza was “inspired” by Jehovah God. He spent many years studying the Pyramid of Giza in Egypt and spent many nights inside the pyramid, measuring the different passages and listening to the voice of Satan telling him to rewrite the Holy Scriptures.
Individual members are also referred as “the great crowd,” which is inferior to the “faithful and discreet class” of the 144,000 anointed, so-called “Christian believers.”
In fact, the 144,000 is made up of twelve members each from the twelve tribes of Israel and not from former or present Jehovah’s Witnesses who are in a delusional state of mind.
Indeed, they are “slaves” to this organization, for they “lord” it over their members and this the Lord Jesus warned His disciples not to do. Christ came to free us from the yoke of bondage as presented in the next scriptures.
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.” Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” (John 8:34–36 NKJV; emphasis mine)
One might ask: What sin are they committing? They are committing the sin of “unbelief.” Therefore, as “slaves” and not sons, they will never abide in the house of God. Not for a millisecond.
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Gal 4:6–7 NKJV; emphasis mine)
To receive the Spirit of God’s Son, one must be “born again.” Without the miracle of the rebirth and declaring Jesus as Lord and Savior, unbelievers remain slaves and sons of the evil one, Satan!
Russell gave many prophesies about the coming of the Lord and the end of this corrupt world governing system. But all his prophesies failed to manifest as the false prophet predicted. Russell falsely prophesied that Armageddon (the end of these present evil world governments) would occur in the year 1914, when Jesus came into the world in invisible form to set up His earthly kingdom. When 1914 came, and nothing happened, he changed his prophesy to 1915, then to 1918 and, later, his successor, Joseph Rutherford, changed it to 1925—and still nothing happened.
What did Jesus say about these and other self-appointed false prophets?
But there were false prophets, too, in those days, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly tell t...
