Worship in spirit and in truth.God is spirit and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth, Jesus is the truth who through the Father makes his dwelling among us full of grace and truth (John 4: 24).Worship is a God-centered action (or actions) and attitude of the heart, to honor and revere the great mighty God of heaven and earth. It brings us near to him as we show gratitude for what he has done for us in Christ and through his Holy Spirit. It takes faith and commitment to acknowledge that he is God and Lord to worship him in spirit and in truth.

God Created Us To Worship Him, To Lavish Us With His Love In His Holy Presence.

We are invited daily to come into his presence, to experience him to the fullest, to draw strength and life from him for each day. HE is our daily bread, our portion, our cup of living water to drink from and receive all that we need for each and every day.

I pray as we the beloved of God focus on worshipping our Father, our Savior Jesus, and precious Holy Spirit that we will experience the abundance of his resurrected life. In our body, soul, and spirit to the fullest; and through worship, we will enter in his realm of glory to behold HIS FACE.

The Father Calls Us To Worship

IN THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES, OUR FATHER INVITES US TO COME AND WORSHIP HIM.

OH COME, let us sing to the Lord! Let us SHOUT joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let us shout joyfully to him with Psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and the great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are his also. The sea is his, for he made it; And his hands form the dry lands. Oh come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord, our maker. For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, And the sheep of his hand. (Psalms 95:1–7, NKJV)

The definition of worship in Greek means “to kiss God, falling to the ground to kiss his feet in awe and reverence.” True worship is a matter of the heart’s expression through a lifestyle of holiness. It’s an expression of the beauty of holiness through extravagant and exaggerated love for God.

Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; fear before him all the earth. (Psalms 96:9)

True worship begins with adoration for the attitude of the heart.

Our worship must be toward the one who is worthy simply because he is the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent one. And not just because God is able to meet our needs and answer our prayers, but because his worthiness, his unimaginable love toward us and in all his glory chose to respond and commune with us.

Angels and Worship

The angels worship and adore GOD (Isa. 6:1–3). In verse 3, the angels call to one another—“Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD ALMIGHTY; the whole earth is full of His glory.”

They are on assignment to us to reveal God’s will to us.

Perfect worship is obedience to God.

The angels never tire of worshipping God and neither should we. They perceive the majesty of God’s glory in the universe. In Jude 9, Michael the archangel knew how to resist the devil and celebrate the salvation of the lost.

In heaven, the living creatures and the twenty-four elders fall down and worship him day and night and give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne. They lay their crowns before the throne (Rev. 4:8–11).

As we come to worship with the body of Christ, our angels meet with us also (Luke 15:10).

In the scriptures below you will find there are many reasons and ways we can worship our heavenly Father, here are a few of them:

How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! PEOPLE take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. (Psa. 36:5–9)

He treads the high places of the earth. The Lord God Almighty is your name. (Amos 4:13)

You Are The Great I Am. (Ex. 3:14–15)

You, my God, are a jealous God. (Ex. 20:4–5)

You my Lord are a warrior; the Lord is your name. (Ex. 15:3)

God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome. (Deut. 10:17)

*We are to use the Psalms to worship him.*

*Speak his WORD to him.*

* Clap your hands.*

*Shout with a voice of triumph.*

*Sit at his feet.*

*Wait, let him speak to you, rest in his presence.*

*Lay on your face in silence.*

*Lifting up holy hands to him.*

*Sing to him a new song out of the scriptures.*

*Sing in your heavenly language.*

*Declare his names to him and their meanings.*
