SAP Activate, a project management framework to implement SAP S/4HANA, is an intelligent innovation as a service, which is pioneered on three pillars: SAP Best Practices, guided configuration, and one methodology. This chapter will introduce the SAP Activate methodology, including the three pillars; fit-to-standard analysis; key characteristics; structure, including the different phases of the methodology; and the roles and responsibilities of the project team.
