Nach 1 ½ Jahren Vorbereitungszeit erscheint die Zeitschrift ab Heft 1 2015 mit verändertem Layout und überarbeiteten Rubriken. Zum Auftakt dieses Neustartes haben wir drei Autor(inn)en unterschiedlicher Konfession gebeten, ihrem Verständnis von Spiritualität anhand von Joh 6, 63 nachzugehen - diesem Vers entstammt der Name der Zeitschrift GEIST & LEBEN. Das Stundengebet als liturgisch fundierte Spiritualität und ökumenische Chance beleuchtet Johannes Uphus.Im "Jahr der Orden" wollen wir verschiedentlich auf Geschichte und Gegenwart christlicher Ordensspiritualität schauen: Elisabeth Peeters OCD lässt Teresa von Ávila in einem Brief zu uns sprechen, Klaus Mertes SJ reflektiert über "Jesuiten und Kirchlichkeit" und Bernhard Eckerstorfer OSB gibt Anregungen für "Die Zukunft der Ordensausbildung". Marie-Dominique Minassian führt in das bisher auf Deutsch kaum zugängliche Zeugnis Christophe Lebretons OCSO aus der Gemeinschaft von Tibhirine ein.Joachim Werz macht mit seinem Beitrag zu "Sakraltopographien im 21. Jahrhundert" den Auftakt in der neuen Rubrik "Junge Theologie".Sabine Demel beleuchtet das Verhältnis von Kirchenrecht und Spiritualität."Frühsyrische Epiklesen" sind der Anlass für Gerard Rouwhorst, über den Zusammenhang von Eucharistie und Pfingsten nachzudenken.
