Dazu verbindet sie – im Sinne eines "fröhlichen Eklektizismus" – die Diskursanalyse mit der Hermeneutik. Auf diese Weise werden die Inhalte und die theoretisch-methodischen Grundlagen der Schulbücher aus einer gesellschaftskritischen und subjektorientierten Perspektive analysiert und interpretiert.
