Ibiza Town at night is something to behold. Depending on your mood, wander around the Port Area, dine at a sensational restaurant or bar-hop your way through packed-out Carrer de la Verge, Ibiza’s LGBT village, before hitting a megaclub.

Getting There & Around

Bus L10 to/from airport (€3.50, 20 minutes, every 20 to 30 minutes).

Bus L3 to/from Sant Antoni (€2, 25 minutes, every 15 to 30 minutes).

Bus L13 to/from Santa Eulària (€2, 25 minutes, every 20 to 60 minutes).

Top ExperienceDalt Vila

Its formidable 16th-century bastions visible from across southern Ibiza, Dalt Vila is a fortified hilltop first settled by the Phoenicans then occupied by a roster of subsequent civilisations. Many of its tranquil, cobbled, atmospheric lanes are accessible only on foot. It’s mostly residential, but contains moody medieval mansions and several key cultural sights. All lanes lead to the cathedral-topped summit.

yTop Tips

APrivate vehicles (apart from residents’) aren’t allowed into Dalt Vila.

AYou can walk Dalt Vila’s entire ramparts in under an hour.

AAside from the grand Portal de Ses Taules, there are three other entrances to this walled enclave, including the impressive Portal Nou (west side).

AThe old town’s steep, cobbled streets can be a challenge in flimsy sandals, flip-flops or high heels.

AYou’ll find good restaurants on Plaça de la Vila, Carrer de Sa Carrossa and Plaça dels Desemparats.
