1. Learn What The DIAD Buttons Do
The Barcode Button turns the DIAD on, as well as activates the scanner on the DIAD in order to scan packages.
The Backspace Button erases anything you might have manually type into the DIAD. On letter or number at a time.
The Space Button adds a blank space when manually typing into the DIAD.
The Big Arrow Up Button is used in many functions throughout the DIAD, but the main one is allowing you to view your stops on the screen (8 at a time) going up.
The Big Arrow Down Button allows you to view your stops on the screen (8 at a time) going down.
The Little Arrow Up & Down Buttons ( on the side of the key pad one above the other) allow you to move the cursor one line at at time.
The Left Arrow Button allows you to move backwards one space at a time.
The Right Arrow/Enter Button has two functions. It allows you to move to the right/down and it also acts as the Enter button allowing you to finish any entry you might have input into the DIAD.
The Signature Button starts the process of allowing you to get a signature.
The Stop Complete Button allows you to complete a delivery stop and/or Scheduled pickup.
