Existe una zona de la interrogaciĂłn cultural contemporĂĄnea desde el sur que puede encontrar en el barullo histĂłrico del movimiento Tupac Amaru de Jujuy (Argentina) caminos para repensar los modos de subjetivaciĂłn polĂtico-cultural de ciertos sectores populares latinoamericanos. Es asĂ como se interpelan las complejidades actuales del lazo social en estas latitudes. De antemano, no se puede pautar lo que este clĂmax popular institucionaliza o ramifica hacia el futuro, pero se procura explorar este acontecimiento como ruptura histĂłrica regional. El movimiento social Tupac Amaru se presenta como controversia que puede al fin devenir en captura hacia la ignominia o hacia el mito, de una u otra manera reificado. Es concebible tambiĂ©n que su mera existencia, desarrollo y libertad signifiquen una anomalĂa histĂłrica, inclusive inadvertida para los marcos progresistas que la engendraron, mĂĄs aĂșn para quienes hoy procuran desintegrarla y erradicarla. Los conceptos que inauguran la temĂĄtica de este libro operan como un carril amplio por el que se buscan recorrer procesos observables que se vivieron en los Ășltimos años en AmĂ©rica Latina, en Argentina y, especĂficamente, en Jujuy. Con sus intensidades y matices, las instancias de difĂcil traductibilidad e inteligibilidad desde la crĂtica acadĂ©mica se manifiestan en el entorno social circundante en un abierto rechazo.
