About this book

This book of 100 Sermon Outlines for Personal and Group Bible Studies to Preaching and Teaching God's Word

First: Because we can get so much by a personal study of God's word, and we can study anytime as convenient for us, it is highly recommended that we study by ourselves;

Second: Because many churches have cell groups which help the members study together for the spiritual growth of their members, and to encourage fellowship we highly encourage this method.

OUTLINES FOR PERSONAL AND GROUP BIBLE STUDIES TO PREACHING AND TEACHING
GOD’S WORD
Joseph Jeremiah
Introduction
This book is for all readers and to assist those who preach and teach the word of God, especially those who are secularly employed but teach on Sundays and for pastors who have very busy schedules.
The Author
Joseph Jeremiah was born of Christian parents on the island of Grenada, located in the Caribbean, and he spent his early years there with his parents, brothers, and sisters. On the secular side, he worked in the accounting field until 1965 when he migrated to the United States.
According to the demands of life, he saw it necessary to return to school and graduated in the field of accounting. Here in the United States, he worked in accounting with the private sector and ten years with the government of the United States, while being heavily involved in the ministry with some of his churches in the Washington, DC, area. In 1990, Bro. Joe., as he is commonly called, was ordained to full-time ministry as an itinerant evangelist/Bible teacher in the United States and elsewhere by the Colmar Manor Gospel Chapel in Maryland, and he takes his ministry seriously. Bro. Joe is married to Uldine, and they have two grown daugh-ters who live in other states, but Joe and Uldine makes their home in Florida.
Foreword
As believers, our highest privilege and perhaps greatest responsibility is to faithfully share with others what the Holy Spirit has taught our own hearts from God’s Word. It was Charles E. Fuller, preacher of the Gospel on The Old Fashioned Revival Hour for thirty years, who said, “To know the Word of God, to live the Word of God, to preach the Word, to teach the Word, is the sum total of all wisdom, the heart of all Christian service.”
We may not lack in desire to teach or preach the Word of God, but we may need help in learning how to develop a clear presentation of a passage or subject. Soon after I was saved at age twelve, I was asked to deliver the message from the Word of God in a morning service at a small gathering of believers. I certainly had the desire, but I seriously lacked understanding of how to prepare my chosen passage for presentation. They were some of the most embarrassing moments of my life. I say “moments” because that is about how long my message lasted!
Unfortunately, it took years before I ever attempted to share from the Word again. The blessing that resulted from that embar-rassment was that I learned the value of outlining. An outline simply helps the teacher or preacher clearly present the truth of the Word of God to his or her listeners and lead them to an application of that truth to their own lives.
It has been my privilege to come to know Joseph Jeremiah over the past number of years at Hiawassa Bible Chapel in Orlando, Florida, where we both attend. As I have had opportunity to spend time with Joe, what has stood out to me is his love for our Lord Jesus Christ, his devotion to the Word of God, and his eagerness to assist other believers in sharing the truth of the Word of God. Along with his desire to help others share the Word., for personal and group bible study to preaching and teaching God’s word .
God has well prepared Joe for writing this book. Soon after Joe trusted in Jesus Christ at age twenty -one, he began to be active in teaching Sunday Schools and preaching on the island of Grenada, West Indies, where he was born. Over the years, the Lord has opened up opportunities for Joe to carry on a teaching and preaching ministry that has taken him to many Caribbean islands, the US Virgin Islands, thirty-one out of the fifty states in the United States, Canada, Nigeria, Africa, Guyana, South America, as well as England and Scotland.
Joseph Jeremiah has provided the reader with 100 outlines of Scriptures passages and topics that the student of the Word can either develop or modify to enable them to fulfil their desire to teach or preach the Word of God. Within the outlines, Joseph has included insightful questions and applications, such as: “Do we fully know the condition of our churches today? Do we make inquiry so that we can know how to pray?” Also, “We should be fait...
