Eppure, le politiche pubbliche a livello nazionale e internazionale privilegiano in modo schiacciante l'agricoltura industrializzata, che inquina l'ambiente e alimenta filiere globali a scapito dei piccoli produttori e dei consumatori. In Italia, Expo 2015 è riuscita ad annientare i produttori alimentari, glorificando al tempo stesso l'immagine di grandi corporation transnazíonali.
