Megjegyzés
Egyházi – elsősorban gyermekeknek szóló, katolikus – tanítás szerint a Betlehemben leölt kisdedek „még aznap” angyalokká lettek. A passió folyamán, a Golgotáig bezárólag, a kisdedekből lett angyali kórus többször megszólal.

Nota
Secondo l’insegnamento ecclesiastico – in primo luogo quello cattolico diretto ai bambini – i pargoli trucidati a Betlemme “lo stesso giorno” si sono trasfigurati in angeli. Durante la passione, fino al Golgota incluso, il coro angelico formato dai pargoli più volte prende la parola.
