A partir de estas consideraciones, en esta obra se revisa desde diferentes ámbitos el término patrimonio, y se presentan las reflexiones de diferentes especialistas así como sus aportaciones para introducir y diseccionar el nuevo concepto de patrimonios migrantes. Con la intención de reflexionar en torno a las cuestiones patrimoniales y en lo referido a la educación patrimonial se celebraron en la Universitat de València las IV Jornadas Internacionales de Investigación en Educación Artística bajo el lema «Patrimonios migrantes», cuyos textos se recogen en este libro.
