Die Ausbildung für das Pfarramt verändert sich, weil sich die Gesellschaft und die Kirche verändern. Welche Fähigkeiten muss ein Pfarrer oder eine Pfarrerin in Zukunft haben? Achtzehn Deutschschweizer Landeskirchen legen gemeinsam ein neues Kompetenzstrukturmodell für das evangelisch-reformierte Pfarramt vor. Das Modell formuliert theologisch zwölf Standards: Orientierungspunkte, wie die Pfarrschaft, die Kirchenleitungen, die kirchlichen Behörden auf lokaler Ebene und die Zuständigen für Ausbildung und Personalentwicklung über die pfarramtlichen Kompetenzen nachdenken können. Reflektiert werden Aspekte wie Teamorientierung, Spezialisierung und 'Sperrigkeit' des Pfarrberufs. Die Diskussion stützt sich ab auf die zwölf aktuellsten pastoraltheologischen Ansätze im deutschsprachigen Raum und umfasst auch Beurteilungen aus der Aussenperspektive. Ein Vademecum bietet zusätzlich konkrete Anwendungsbeispiele und ein Hilfsmittel zur Einschätzung der eigenen Kompetenzen.
