Im Straßenverkehr können verschiedene Objekte einen Einfluss auf die InterÂŹpretation einer Verkehrssituation haben. Beispielsweise kann ein Warnschild ein relevantes Konzept zur Situationsentwicklung aktivieren und so die Reaktion des Fahrers auf nachfolgende Reize verbessern. Doch inwieweit orientieren sich Autofahrer in ihrem Fahrverhalten auch an anderen Verkehrsteilnehmern? Im Fokus dieser Fahrsimulations- und Blickbewegungsstudie steht daher die Frage, ob sozialdeterminierte Objekte aus dem aktuellen Verkehrsumfeld (z.B. ein FußgĂ€nger) einen Einfluss auf das Fahrverhalten besitzen und wie stark diese Verhaltensbeeinflussung im Vergleich zu statischen bzw. kĂŒnstlichen Verkehrselementen (z.B. einem Schild) ist. In zwei verschiedenen Fahrsimulationen konnte nachgewiesen werden, dass die PrĂ€sentation von sozialdeterminierten, sich bewegenden Hinweis- oder Orientierungsreizen einen stĂ€rkeren Effekt auf das Fahr- und Blickverhalten in kritischen Verkehrsszenen hat, als dieses bei statischen Verkehrsobjekten der Fall ist. Dies lĂ€sst sich damit erklĂ€ren, dass sowohl das visuelle Kontrollsystem als auch die VerhaltensprĂ€ferenzen des Menschen auf speziellen Selektions-mechanismen basieren, welche sich stĂ€rker an natĂŒrlichen bzw. ursprĂŒnglichen als an technisch-modernen Reizen orientieren.
